Anders Lundgren
Prior to joining Rototilt, Anders Lundgren worked as the Executive Vice President for R&D at the industrial company Ålö AB, where he spent nearly 15 years. Being born, raised and living in Tvärålund, not far from Rototilt’s headquarters in Vindeln, Anders has been familiar with the company for a long time:
“ In a relatively small municipality like Vindeln, this type of company is extremely important, and over the years I have been impressed by both Rototilt’s history of growth and the development of its products. In addition, there were slightly softer values that appealed to me, for example, the owners’ personnel policies, and the well-being they create in the workplace. You can tell that these are important issues for the family that owns the company, and they contribute to the stability and loyalty of the staff.
As the title of Global Director for Product Planning & Support suggests, it is a role that includes responsibility in terms of both products and the aftermarket. In addition, he is responsible for the project office for product development. Anders Lundgren says:
“I see product planning as a central part of my role. Understanding the customers’ challenges and needs, so we can develop products that meet their expectations. Our main task at Rototilt is to provide our customers with solutions that make their work easy and efficient, which we do by offering the right products.
Rototilt has worked intensively to improve the customer experience, to create an even better experience with both our products and with Rototilt as a company. Product support is an extremely important factor in this effort.
“The uptime of the excavator is absolutely crucial for our customers, and in order to ensure this, we obviously need to offer the right products, both in terms of functionality and quality. But equally important is how we take care of the customer and provide fast and competent support, no matter which market is involved. That’s why we put a lot of energy into training both our subsidiaries and distributors, so that in turn, they can act as a good support system for customers in their market,” says Anders Lundgren.
When it comes to his managerial role, Anders Lundgren has both solid experience and many thoughts on how it can be improved to take advantage of the employees’ strengths in an optimal way. Both for their own sake and to allow Rototilt to continue its ongoing growth:
“I believe in having clear, common goals, where we give employees a lot of individual freedom to use their own strengths so that we can achieve these goals. Of course, I also want to bring some joy to the teams as well – we should have fun together. And if we simply take advantage of the enormous potential that exists in the company, both in terms of skills and products, I am sure that we will continue towards a bright future. Everything suggests that the market will continue to grow, and as our third generation products are much more energy efficient, they will be in demand globally as well. Both for economic as well as environmental reasons.
