Rototilt safeguards your privacy. We want to tell you about how we process your personal data in providing our products and services.

This policy describes how we process your personal data when you visit our website, for example, or when you contact us, such as to purchase a product or service, as well as the processing of personal data that we need to carry out in order to deliver a product or service that you have requested. If we use your personal data for marketing purposes, this is also described below.

What information do we collect?

We collect information about you through our website and social media, for example, by telephone and email and at events and trade fairs. Most of the information that we process about you has been received directly from you.

Who might we share your information with?

Rototilt uses a range of systems that process personal data about our customers on behalf of the company. We only use system suppliers who can ensure the secure processing of your personal data. We also enter into data processing agreements with all suppliers who process personal data on behalf of the company to ensure that the appropriate security measures are implemented, among other things.

Rototilt also works with several different companies for the sale and delivery of the company’s products. The personal data that the company collects about you in connection with requests for quotes and purchases, for example, may be shared with third parties such as transport companies, dealers and the company’s distributors.

We may also provide necessary information to the relevant authorities if we are required to do so by law or if you have agreed to us doing so. We may also disclose information to a third party where this is necessary in order to protect our rights, for example if legal claims are made against us.

Rototilt will not sell the data collected to third parties.

Where do we process your personal data?

Rototilt processes your personal data within the EU/EEA. Rototilt implements all reasonable legal, technical and organisational measures to ensure that the data is processed securely and with an adequate level of protection.

Your rights of access, rectification and erasure

Rototilt keeps a record of all personal data processing operations handled within the company, and has also appointed a function that works with GDPR issues to ensure the prompt management of your rights.

You have a number of rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, which you can assert when we process personal data about you.

You have the right to request a copy of the data that Rototilt processes about you and to verify this information.
You have the right to correct any inaccurate or incomplete information about you.
You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data in the event that the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. There may be legal obligations, however, which prevent us from erasing some of the data immediately. These obligations may derive from accounting and tax legislation. In such cases, we will prevent the data that we are required to store from being used for purposes other than fulfilling such legal obligations.
You have the right to object to the processing of personal data that is based on the company’s legitimate interest. For example, you can object to direct marketing that we send to you and we will then immediately end such processing of your personal data.

We process cookies that are necessary for the functionality of the website on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing the website to you when you visit it. If Rototilt processes personal data about you on the basis of your consent to the processing of personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Contact details of the supervisory authority

The registered has the right to file a complaint about a company’s processing of personal data in case the processing is not compliant with the data protection legislation. Every member country within EU has its own supervisory authority where you as a registered person can file a complaint.
