Rototilt’s investment in a brand new factory in Vindeln, at a cost of SEK 160 million, was based on the strong demand for machines with smart functions. And Rototilt continues to have a positive outlook for the future – it is anticipating a continued strong period of growth going forward, with further investment projects that will increase capacity.
Two new CNC machines arrived at the start of February, and are in the process of being installed. The additional machines will help to increase capacity and provide an even more optimised manufacturing process. The investment is strategically important for Rototilt and is contributing to continued growth.
Incoming orders are looking so bright that we are already having to plan for additional capacity to meet customer needs.
“2021 was marked by very high levels of activity, and this is paving the way for future investments. It is pleasing to note that we are continuing to increase sales significantly, and we have developed our offering during the year by establishing the brand on new export markets. The fact that more people are opting for Rototilt’s solutions is a result us continually developing our offering of tiltrotator systems,” says Per Väppling.
Rototilt has recruited some 20 new employees during 2021, and the Group currently has 290 employees. Rototilt is now planning further new recruitment in 2022, both within production and among white collar workers.
It was recently announced that the family-owned Rototilt has been named Career Company of the Year. This distinction is awarded annually to the 100 most attractive employers in Sweden, with the justification stating e.g.: "Through high quality benefits and an ability to lift up its employees, Rototilt is creating an attractive workplace".
This can also be seen from the employee surveys carried out in line with Great Place to Work’s global standards, with Rototilt becoming a certified company for the third year in a row.
As an outside body, they evaluate the organisations to provide a measure of the workplace culture and the efforts being made by the employer.
All in all, it is possible to see a significant increase – from 79 per cent to 83 per cent – in the proportion of people saying that Rototilt is “a very good place to work”. This rating stands up extremely well in a range of comparisons.
“It is obviously pleasing that we have come so far, especially during a pandemic with all the challenges this entails. Being a Great Place to Work is an overall goal for Rototilt, and we want to have a positive work culture where our employees can thrive and develop. Thanks to the survey, we’re not just getting a report about the situation, but also an important foundation regarding areas for development,” says Britta Malmqvist, HR Manager Sweden.
“The result is visible proof that our employees experience a very high degree of credibility and trust, and that they are given freedom with responsibility within the organisation as well as a feeling of being part of an exciting journey of growth,” she says.
